Arshad Nadeem :An Unrevealed Struggle
Arshad Nadeem an Olympian Gold Medalist set a new Olympian record with a throw of 92.97 meter in Javelin History .
He is the first Pakistani athlete how achieve an Olympic gold medal after 32 years at Paris 2024 . Almost 14000 to 15000 athletes can participate after 4 years in Olympics , but as a individual athlete breaking 100 years old Olympic record and making another big record , is definitely the result of Hard work to achieve success .
Whole Life Struggle:
It is a story of resilience , persistence and consistence which led to the successful story of young man to meeting his final destination and achieving his goals. We learn through this true story that how perseverance and dignity can help one battle through struggles in life.
Purchasing a Javelin:
Arshad was a boy how could not even buy a javelin , When he starts his journey. His father was a mason at that time, when he was dreaming to make a world record in Olympic history. Due to poverty , he teach students of his village and living his hard life. After sometime his father suggest him to make a javelin at home by using some homemade instruments . Finally he start his practice at nearly playground.
Qualified For IAAF ( International Amateur Athletic Federation) :
Finally after some years Arshad Nadeem started competing in Javelin competitions in 2015.After a year in 2016, He received a scholarship from World Athletics , which made him eligible to train at the IAAF High Performance Training Center in Mauritius.
This was great moment for Arshad and his family to fulfil his dreams. He struggle day and night to achieve his goals and improve his throwing skills.
He won many national level competitions and it encourages him to do his work with consistency for playing at International level. He drew motivation and inspiration from the face of diversity to reach at this stage.
Championships:
Showing incredible performances at national level championship, Arshad finally play's at international championships. Here are some medals won by Arshad Nadeem:
- A Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist (2022).
- A Silver Medal winner at "The World Athletics Championships"(2023).
